Sustainability and the Waste Collection Circuit (CRR)
Optocentro is a founding member of AASO (Association for the Support of Sustainability in the Optical Industry), created to drive change and promote eco-friendly practices in the optical sector. As part of this association, we actively participate in the CRR (Waste Collection Circuit) —a project that organizes the sorting and responsible disposal of optical waste brought in by customers, ensuring that waste is diverted from landfills and reintroduced into the circular economy or directed toward social responsibility and research projects.
Join the Cycle: Bring in Your Optical Waste
Sustainability is a collective effort, and your participation in our stores is essential. In our stores, you’ll find CRR-branded collection bins strategically placed so you can dispose of your old items.
We encourage all our customers to bring:

Vintage eyeglass frames and glasses (which will be carefully sorted; items in excellent condition will be restored, and the rest will be sent for material recycling).
